Alber Elbaz has turned Lanvin into the label that, in my point of view, epidemizes Parisian chic. The collections are always feminine, strong, and put women on a pedistal. This season, Alber gave his woman a bit of an edge. The now signature draping was still throughout the collection, but the treatments in the fabric gave it a matte shine, almost rubbery appearance. It also gave the fabric a crispness, which gave the draping a more enhanced effect. The color was very focused, as was the proportion. Everything was short and close to the body. I think it was another successful collection for Lanvin.
